Flying Esophagus Productions began in 1990 as a distribution and mail order service, selling recordings from Charnel Music, Permis de Construire and Auricular Records. Relationships were established with local artists, and in 1993 Flying Esophagus turned to operating as a label, producing two full-length albums.
Recordings released by Flying Esophagus are available for license outside of the United States. The copyrights are maintained by Flying Esophagus, but belong to the individual artists as they rightfully should be.
